All my life I have had to make or modify the things I want. Doing so I have found a great love for all things metal. In the process of constantly learning, I have developed quite the tool addiction. I have come to the point that some of these tools have gotten expensive enough that I need to start earning some money with them, so I can buy more tools. I’m sure learning to fish would have been cheaper.

When the weather is great I prefer to be out in the field, but when the weather turns nasty, I’m quite comfortable in my shop. As a one man operation I understand my limitations, and will be honest enough to let you know when those limits are reached. I’ve been self employed now for 30 years, and my plans for retirement are to only work 40 hours a week.

My tool addiction allows me to handle all welding processes and now with the new mill to accompany my lathe, I can also do manual machining.
